We are Steve and Lynne Aguirre. Both long time dog lovers, we purchased our first purebred dog, a Bloodhound who we called Maggie, in 1976. In the late 1970's we began showing our Bloodhounds and continue to be actively involved in both the local and National Bloodhound Clubs.

Our interest in Bulldogs began in the late 1980's and we researched the breed for years before finally buying our first, a little girl, La-nan-dor's Puttin' on the Ritz, we called her Lana. It was the beginning of a whole new way of life for everyone at The Ritz.

Over the past 30+ years, we have met many wonderful people and their dogs. All of our own dogs have been owner handled. Steve also trains, conditions and shows dogs for others and has had the pleasure of taking many of them to multiple group wins and Best in Shows in the conformation ring. Lynne shows on a very limited basis and prefers to handle the grooming and spoiling of the dogs!

We are members of The American Bloodhound Club, Bloodhounds West, Pacific Rim Bloodhound Club and The Bulldog Club of America. Our goal in both of our breeds has always been to produce healthy puppies of sound temperament who will represent the Bloodhound and Bulldog breeds well.
